Groundhog Day

Like holy fuck. That flow, that beat :worship: Cardiak really surprised me here; usually his production for me is hit or miss. 10/10 track :y: :worship:
"Soon as my flow starts, I compose art like the ghost of Mozart"

"All that fire in your eyes shows pain, but the flame ain't blue enough"

So great, put this and Baby on the album and take out two duds and you have a true classic album.

I'm so irritated because this album could've been a classic if songs like this replaced Survival, Monster, and Berzerk
I'll stop the alphabet at S and got it down to a T

Trying to recapture that lightning
Trapped in a bottle
Twice the magic that
started it all
Tragic portrait of an artist
Tortured, Trapped
in his own drawings
Tap into thoughts blacker

Absolutely love his cockiness on this. The "sore losers" part is probably my fav at the moment.

Song is sooo dope. Everything about this song is great. Production and lyrics are quality.

Favorite part is the switch in delivery/flow in the middle of the 3rd verse right after, "leg up on the competition." That part flows so smoothly.

And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

WHY DIDN'T THIS MAKE THE ALBUM?

I'm serious, I don't understand what went through Em's head to not include this but include shit like Asshole, The Monster and Stronger Than I Was.

I like to think of the bonus disc not as "didn't make the cut" but more like he couldn't find the proper room on the album, but wanted the fans to hear it anyway. Only so much room for minutes and minutes of hard rapping tbh. If it wasn't for Rap God maybe that's where it would have been.

and also the theme of the track is sort of along the same lines of legacy and brainless, where he's going through his past again. it probably would of been overkill to stick it on the standard edition. he had more important statements to make . thats my 2 cents worth

It's getting even better for me... that would be some classic if it wasn't for the hook IMO.

I kinda got used to the annoying voice he used, and it actually works now that I look at it in a new light.
