Hook is fucking better than Brainless. This should've replaced it. I actually think he goes harder on the verses too.

Come on there were other songs on the album this could've replaced more than that one.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

True, maybe for "Groundhog Day".

On my "perfect" version of the album I have Groundhog Day as the 5th track instead of Survival...it works so beautiful there. And I got Baby after Brainless.

the album itself already kind of is tho. its choppy like recovery but fluent in terms of subject matter...at times

It's not that random lol. Could have definitely fit. Baby is an amazing track, leaving this off the album was a bad move imo.

Baby has no place on the album. He says nothing.

You could easily say the same thing for 50% of the album. Thats a poor and lazy argument tbh

Actually no, every song on there has a concept behind it. Baby has none.

^there is no reason for me to point something out that is so blatantly obvious.

Sure, I could go on and say shit like, Bad guy's concept is matthew killing Em. RoR is Em talking bout's his father and shit, but if you don't realize that yourself, then there is no reason to argue.

ROR he mentions his dad a few times, its not all about his dad....where as the 4 songs i mentioned, those have a "strong" concept and its through out the whole 4 songs.

yet those songs have more of a concept than baby. Baby is just rhyming.

let me guess, lazy argument ?

Menzo wrote:I agree that "Survival" kind of sticks out, musically but I still kind of see its place there. It's a fantastic lead into "Legacy" given how triumphant it sounds, imo but is probably the most replaceable track on the album.

What tracks would you consider straight rapping? Aside from "Rap God", I can't think of any other 'lyrical miracle' types of songs, and RG serves its purpose especially coming in right after "Berzerk".

I dunno, obviously we are gonna have different preferences on how some songs are, but I love "Baby" and play it the most by FAAAR out of the bonus tracks. But the more I look and listen to the official 16, the more in place they all feel.

I think we can agree doe...this album is dope.

Brainless... He goes innnnnnnn..... And if we're counting bonuses, baby

This track is amazing. I hope on his next album he produces most/all of it with Dre. The Eminem Show has the best production on any of his albums imo. I'd like to see M-Phazes produce for him more as well (he produced part 2 of Bad Guy).

*Edit* Woops, got him mixed up with Streetrunner

Actually M-Phazes made the first part of the Bad Guy beat with S1. I believe S1 added the drums and the hook and then Streetrunner made the second part.
