Survival by miles.

Tragic portrait of an artist tortured
Trapped in his own drawings

But in my head there’s a voice in the back and it hollas
After the track is demolished
I am your lack of a conscience

I’m your time that’s almost up that you haven’t acknowledged
Grab for some water but I’m that pill that’s too jagged to swallow

Well, here's a preliminary outline. Overall scores are independent of other scores.

Survival ft. Liz Rodrigues
Chorus. Extremely meh. Generic. Gets its point across i guess. 2.5/5
1st verse. Young Money diss. Multis every line. 3/5
2nd verse. Some pretty out-there punchlines. Alright verse. 3/5
3rd verse. I liked this verse a lot. It's definitely in my top verses on the album. Dat rhymescheme. 4.5/5
Overall. Great song. Doesn't really fit with the rest of the album and any of the bonus tracks could replace it, but it was very good as a Call of Duty promo, just coming off of a string of features and Recovery being the last full Eminem album we'd heard. 4/5

Won't Back Down ft. P!nk
Chorus. I've seen Pink live. It was at a half time show of an NBA game and it was terrible. Don't care for her at all. Em's lyrics are Recovery in a nutshell. 1.5/5
1st verse. This was a good verse. It was fun in the MI trailer. The rims line is the best part of the song. 4/5
2nd verse. Michael J Fox... Ugh. Swine flu... sick pig... 1/5
3rd verse. Nothing meaningful said. Proof and Wayne should not be mentioned in the same verse. 1.5/5
Overall. One of Recovery's low points. The first verse is okay but the rest of the song is downhill from there. I can see why they didn't make it a full length trailer. Just not a good song at all. 2/5

I will elaborate on any of my points if requested.

what do you think he means by "... it wasn't about the ends ... fuck an acronym ..."? he's saying it didn't used to be about money, which is all they talk about, and acronyms.. mmg yolo ymcmb etc and that they don't really "stand for" anything
