Stimulate

Postby mcZu » Jan 20th, '10, 21:06

I'll go with the recent Eminem classics review flow here....

In my opinion this is one of his best songs ever, period. The rhyme scheme he came up with is so unique and eargasmic, it flows impeccable and he still manages to bring his point across with a message.

Not just blantely rhyming for the sake of rhyming. And yet the multies and internal rhyming in this song are that of Eminem at his best.

Word, it's a great song :worship:

I don't know why, but for me it doesn't feel like a rap ... I don't know what it feels like :-k

I like:

Feeling good when I should be ashamed
Sh*t, I really should've fell but I stood
See I came like a flame in the night
Like a ghost in the dark; there's a ray, there's a light
There's a hope, there's a spark
But when planets collide they'll never see eye to eye
Until they decide to set their differences aside
And this is why only one of us will survive
So children follow my lead and feel the vibe, cause

And

Constantly moving, constantly using the constitution
As a form of restitution
Bless the children, nothing less than brilliant
Let me entertain you like Robbie Williams
I'll be here when y'all are gone, rebuilding,
World revolving, still evolving, still Slim
How many kids'll copy? Probably millions,
But I'ma do this as a fu*king hobby till then, cause
! Is He Nuts? No, He's InSajN !

I'm pretty sure.....
but "Stimulate" still shoulda been on there
instead of ending up on a single cd & a bonus disc with the 8 Mile soundtrack :shakehead:

Great song without a doubt. Chorus is a bit irritating though.

That's the only thing I can't stand. Chorus is weird. And the beat is a bit weird but good IMO. Love this song. Weird thing is like 2 months ago I couldn't stand it and now it's one of my favorites.
