i think that's because dre expects people to lie & say he wrote it if they ghost-wrote for him.

i remember reading about dre getting angry @ royce da 5'9" 's manager for letting slip that royce ghost-wrote for dre.

Yeah one of Royce's ghostwritten songs was supposed to be on 2001 but Dre took it off after that. I dunno why, everyone knows Dre's lyrics are ghostwritten, why does it matter?

That moment was sort of the start of the downward spiral between Royce and Aftermath/Shady/Interscope.
