This is his masterpiece and will never be matched imo

It's his Dance With The Devil, his Mona Lisa, his 63 Wilt Chamberlain. Every time I hear this song, no matter how many times in a row, it reminds me why I like Eminem and why I started listening to rap. When people ask me what kinda rap I listen to and try to slip Em unnoticeablely between Wu-Tang and Canibus THIS song makes me want to slap myself. This song is Eminem. This song is music.

Word,
Stan is Em's Magnum Opus, his Patent for greatness. I cant deny that.
Its dope, and legendary as fuck.

The reason I've always said it's a classic song, not even just rap, one of the greatest songs of all time...

Think about it, it was on mmlp, if it was on Relapse we would have said it was genius and so would critics. He did it on his second album

That song was way before it's time, at least imo, I think by TES or encore is when I would expect that song, looking back I mean, but being on his second album to me just shows the dudes a genius with music :worship:

Especially since sslp dropped just a year before, he was in the spotlight for only one year and wrote that :worship:

He makes this concept that no-one has even thought of before and uses letters as his raps, which hip hop has never seen before. You hear it for the first time and you just think 'Wow'.

Everything about it, from the live version with Elton to the video is just a masterpiece. Fans from all genres, not just rap can appreciate it and thats what makes it so incredible.
