Alright, I was doing my Maths GCSE repeat today, and I couldn't for the life of me get this question:

(8/27)^(-3/4) X 0.025^-2 = 81

Prove it equals 81.

Is the X a variable? Is the purpose to solve the equation (X) ? Or is it simply a multiplication-sign?

The solution for X, in this eq, is;

X = (3/200) * (3/2)^(3/4)

Which is ~2.

....This might help you in the right direction...
- 0.025^-2 is the same thing as 1 / (0.025^2)
