Got exam next week, and I know nothing!

Talk about what you have learned in school/college/university, and discuss with others.
Or you can simply talk negative about your teachers/boss.

Let's say I get E on every subject this semester (which I don't, lol), I will still get the credit that is determined, but of course... I will not be able to do get on higher levels like PhD if the grades are not good enough. That means I would have to spend another year to make them better. And vica verca, if I drop out of one of the subjects, I won't get the credit that I need, and will not be able to get on higher levels if I don't have the amount of credits I need, no matter how many A's I have.

In my country you also need to have some of your work published (essays, research....).

OS (Operating Systems)
IT Service Management (something like that in English)
IA (Information Architecture)

In IT and IA I didn't have exams, only assignments and projects. I think I will get C on both.

I have only been to ONE class in OS. It's mostly about assembly coding, and I have no idea how it works

OMG....what do you study? Bachelor? In what?

And come on....you have to know Assembly to be a real programmer.

I just failed my first exam 2 days ago....Real Time Programming and Interfacing with Electronics.
I sucked ballz at Superposition Theorem in Electronics.

Yeah, Bachelor in "Anvendt Datateknologi". You're Danish, so maybe you understand it without me translating :p

Well... just an update: I failed.

Applied Computer Engineering? I'm IT Engineering.
I wonder what's the difference. Do you have a lot of practical stuff?

And I'm not Danish...i'm just studying abroad (that's why i'm in Denmark).

I see.

The difference is that I do not get the "engineer" title, plus we touch different parts of programming and security, databases and all that. Like we go through all those stuff, instead of just focusing on one or two parts the whole way.

I think that's the difference anyway.

That's too vague. Did you ever have stuff like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbOcEudUgWU
I had that this semester as semester project. That video is not mine, but of one of my classmates. Mine is 70-80% similar.
It's programmed in MicroC (real-time kernel).

You need certain amount of good grades and credits. For each semester you get an amount of credits, like 10 or 20, and to continue a study on to Masters or better, you need 60 credits (just an example). I am sure that's how it works.

I didn't know that. :y:
