He is still trying to play the underdog when everyone loves him these days. And the people who don't listen to his music still have a lot of respect for him. Everyone is basically pulling for him to succeed and he is acting like he is still in the days of people hating him for being too extreme.

2. His only project since Recovery - Hell The Sequel, has nothing in common with Recovery except for Lighters
3. He's been working on the new album for quite a long time
