Em's piano melodies are one in a million. Uplifts any beat imo like the piano on "Brainless" is haunting.
I think Luis Resto has more to do with the piano melodies than Eminem does. He probably gives him a vague idea of what he wants it to sound like, and Luis does his thing. Resto had additional production on (all I think) of Eminem's production on The Entity.
Trex is right about Gordy though. There was no way he would have been signed to Shady Records. As much as what Bizarre says is supposed to be shock rap, he wasn't a solo artist on the label. Gordy portrays more evil imagery than even Bizarre, and wouldn't have been marketable.
WEB Entertainment was enough to get him some solid hookups for his debut album to kick start his career. It didn't work out like it was supposed to.
