I know a lot of guys on here love Relapse but I honestly don't see it ever being a classic outside of this forum. People claim it's getting similar praise over time elsewhere, but I'm just not seeing it.

That's because no one considers it a classic aside from Relapse stans on here.

GKMC is a classic for it's impact and universal acclaim, alone. We call SSLP a classic and it was his first studio album.

What about The Heist for it's impact and universal acclaim??? Unlike most hip hop heads, I respect Macklemore. Not the strongest technical emcee but no one is touching on stuff like Same Love, and no one has an album like that in hip hop right now.

I agree with Talib Kweli, he was talking about how The Heist a few years from know will be seen as an album that changed the game.

Wasn't saying The Heist is a classic.....but it's certainly a game changer. The Heist is pretty dope if you listen to the album in it's entirety and not just Thrift Shop or Can't Hold Us.

Can't compare Em and Macklemore, Em is 100 times greater obviously. But The Heist is a better album for Macklemore than Relapse is for Em, if that makes sense. The Heist was also a universal hit with critics.

Sept. 24- Survival Vid. -- Sept. 29-Oct. 4 - Second single.

Oct. 5-15 - Tracklist -- Oct. 15 - Cypher.

Oct. 20-31 - Vid for 2nd single (if we get one before album drop). Also Album art.

It will also likely leak between the 20th-28th. We'll probably get at least 1 interview in Sept and 2 or 3 in Oct.

I hope they pass on the Survival video, song isn't very good. Decent verses, accompanied by a cliche and weak chorus, as well another weak Khalil beat.

I think we'll see a second single October 8th or 15th, if he does a second single before the album drops. I think we see a tracklist at some point during the 2nd week of October. And a leak probably the last week of October.

Also I'm hyped to see the cover art. Anyone remember how early we got the Recovery cover art??? I can't even remember.

Cover art was a blind guess, no idea when we got it last album drop.

I can't see Em leaving us with only Berzerk for 2 months. Tbh, the hype for the song and vid will die out, so releasing a second single in early Oct makes sense since the cypher will be Oct. 15th.

Why I don't see this album doing Recovery type numbers. I just think Berzerk success wise will be more along the lines of We Made You,a high debut that falls off the charts within a month.
