Probably. Calling it MMLP2 is really setting expectations too high. He's fully accepted the pop sound, it sells for him despite a few Stan compliants. And let's face it most artists are more interested in selling and making money, they are going to cater to the masses. A few complainers on the internet make no difference especially if you're going to go buy the album regardless.

Where'd you hear this from? I thought she said Em went ahead and incorporated the hook into the song and when she heard it she liked it so she gave him permission to use it. When was it re-corded and why if sounds exactly the same as the original?

on the sequel(s) to The Blueprint it had Rihanna, Beyonce, Alicia Keys etc

and many in the hip hop community and beyond consider the blueprint to be as equally good if not better than mmlp

Jay never made a whole album bashing pop stars, only to turn around and make a sequel with a tracklist full of said pop stars. Shit, there are people he dissed on the first MMLP that I'd rather see him work with than Rihanna. A Justin Timberlake hook could actually be pretty dope. But not fucking Rihanna. I've heard about enough from her. She and her fucking umbrella better stay away from this album.

lol at whole album bashing pop stars. it was some songs with some lines bashing specific artists/bands, not even that many, who eminem disliked in 2000. he obviously likes rihanna as they've done three songs so who are you (or anyone for that matter) to say rihanna shouldn't be on the album because of the bashing pop stars thing.
