rap radar posted "won't back down" about 2 weeks before recovery dropped. they also posted extended snippets of stay wide awake and another relapse song. so they'll probably post a mmlp2 song few weeks before the official release i'd say

We're getting the 2nd single anytime between 7-15 October, maybe even earlier.

With Recovery, the period between NA and the release date was just about 52 days, so he didn't need to put out another "single" and just went ahead and put out a random song off the album before the album's release date.

With MMLP2, it's a much longer wait. I think we'll get a new single anytime in the first 2 weeks of October.

he might not even need to drop the single that early if he's doing the cypher .. if he actually does the cypher he will have a lot of hype within the hip hop community. After that he can go on and drop a commercial single, that still doesn't sound that commercial, something like Stan tbh, to keep the Hardcore fans and the casual fans statisfied.

He should've named it SSLP 2 with the whole going back to where it all started idea. MMLP part 2 is just hard to digest.

Damn, a Renegade pt.2 would literally be GOAT track if it were Em, Jay and Nas. Leaving the other verse open for a fourth feature, but Jay is too stubborn to let Em have this be the potential goat album. On the other hand though if the chance ever presented itself, Jay could see this as an opportunity to try and out-spit Em to redeem himself for the last time AND put Nas' Ether line down at the same time but we all know that wouldn't happen

I really hope there isn't too many Part 2's. I can deal with Marshall Mathers II, cause that would probably be very different. The Way I Am would be ok with a different name though. Anything with features I'd be cool with like a Bitch Please 3 or another BME track.

I think nowadays, if Renegade 2 happens, it should be more like a passing of the torch since they are all already legends in the game .. therefor I would like to see Em and kendrick do Renegade 2 .. as for a Nas & Em collab, I would love The watcher 3 lol

How would y'all feel about a song called Marshall Mathers II that had the same beat and a slightly revised hook (i.e. "I'm still Marshall Mathers, Marshall Mathers...") if the verses were about what pisses him off today and were sharp and on point? To me that makes more sense than randomly calling a completely different song Marshall Mathers II.

I've been visualizing and even dreaming about this. Fucking great idea
