I really think you guys are overestimating these potential album sales. I've heard a few of you guys say platinum first week!!! No way in hell. Recovery only did 741,000 first week and it had a huge commercial radio-friendly lead single. MMLP2 has a decent, not amazing, first single that hasn't really generated that much buzz. And that's pretty much it so far. And if he's not releasing a 2nd single before the album drops (which seems to be what a lot of us here on TR are guessing will be the case) then what else will he have to boost sales? The cypher? It's pretty unlikely he's even doing that.
I swear, the marketing and promotion at Shady Records is fucking terrible. They have no idea how to generate hype for a project. I really hope I'm wrong tho. I'd fucking love to see Em do a million first week

The Real Slim shady hit the charts at #36 I believe. Berzerk #3. Mmlp sold over a million first week.

It's excellent. All of Marshalls real fans are buzzing.

Lets just rule out the 1 million album sales out of the equation, Em will never sell that much, he would have to announce to the world its his last album in order for him to sell that much again, plus a strong radio-friendly song.

Not only was Bezerk an average song music wise, it was also a very average song in terms of radio plays, nothing amazing but nothing bad either. He'll probably do 700k-800k
