Yeah I understand what you mean... my thinking was that the content was the same though and that he was just on about titling it different. That's how I always took it, but I guess if you look at it like he came up with the title first or near the beginning of some recordings then yeah it could be different.

I think he said he was gonna call it that though because he wrote so much of the material there. So I think it was the same content. What a good choice to call it what it became though - but I wonder if that would have made a difference in how it resonated or is perceived. Amsterdam is a cool title and I guess kind of works if you take the title to be more metaphoric of free-living, drug-fueled and rebellious or something.
