Is this even being advertised as the first single? Or is it just said to be off SXV, sorta like how "Survival" was released first through entertainment association but "Berzerk" was the real single 10 days later.

Something I've been noticing on songs like this and Legacy, he keeps rhyming the same words throughout almost the entire song. Legacy every line ended rhyming with the scheme fallen/often ect. and this song almost every line ends rhyming with same old song up to faces off/angry blonde. That's extremely impressive to bend words like that and have the same rhyme scheme throughout an entire song. Say what you will about his subject matter not being on par with his earlier albums but his rhyming is better than anything he or anyone else has ever done.

I enjoy the song but I don't think this is the direction I want Em to head in as he heads towards retirement. Honestly, the MMLP 2 direction was pretty cool imo (not saying we won't be getting more songs like that) and it'd be cool if Em kept on in that direction. This new song leads me to believe that there's more melancholy, inspirational music to come from Em. Don't think I really want that particularly not as Em heads towards retirement.

Yeah because it IS a single, but wasn't the same said for "Berzerk" ?

No maybe you just assumed it, because on the rap radar website clearly states that it wasn't when it dropped.
