I really don't know. This feels like a complete sequel, much more than I thought he was capable of. Some songs of course are questionable, but the bulk of this CD is really damn good.

My thoughts on the album:
MMLP>TES>MMLP2>SSLP

This is my personal opinion. I LOVE this album, I think it's an incredible project and I'm actually in awe of how good it is. But with it being said that I think it was better than the SSLP... I'm so happy not even comparing it to a single thing and just accepting it for what it is, Eminem's 4th absolute classic piece of work. Couldn't be happier with it, and if he feels that this was all that he had left in him, I will gladly take it and be fine with him walking away.. enjoy life Marshall you gave us 15 years of an intense fucking rollercoaster ride filled with a lot of great music

Okay so if its alright i'd like to interject my opinion, if you care.

Listened to the whole thing twice now. Still feel like i need to hear it about 1000 times more to really soak it all in. But as of this moment right now i feel so just... i dont even know. And i mean that in a good way. Its like the one thing that really makes me the fan i am is the story of it all. Like from album to album we have all these little references and hidden jokes we get, which makes them all similar in a way. Yet, at the same time, this son of a bitch continues to completely shock me with the final finished product. Not only does this album have some insane humor that truly brings me back, he sounds insanely more comfterble with himself now. The Voice/Flow/Chorus'/Content its just so pleasing that he made this quality of a album. The emotion on stronger than i was and headlights is unreal, yet there songs on here i wouldnt even show my girlfriend (so much better) cuz i know how offensive it is WHICH IS AWESOME CUZ THATS WHAT THE ORIGINAL ALBUM WAS.



Ahhh anyways im just so overwelmed, what seems to be the overall opinion?

The lyricism on this album is mind boggling. I mean, holy shit, the internal rhymes are fabulous and just as good as Prime Eminem. Take Legacy for example, he stays on the SAME rhyme scheme the ENTIRE song.

I've said this a couple times already but I wanna know if anyone agrees. After a couple listens I felt pleasantly uncomfortable in a positive way. Like I just listened to his whole career. Hard to explain. Couldn't be happier with it.

I'm convinced that people just don't know what they want anymore. And if this is Em's last LP, sadly it's gonna have to take Em saying "That's it, guys. I'm done." for them to really go "Oh shit, he's really done." Watch. They were saying the same about Dre back in the day. Hasn't dropped an album in ages, but he's still generating huge buzz to whatever song he's featured on.

atleast people can now put those initial fears to rest, when it was announced that this album would be titled "mmlp2"..
a lot of people thought that was gonna tarnish the original, based off of his his previous albums..
he really pulled it of the bag on this project. congrats slim,

It shares some very technical rhymes with his best aesthetic voice in years.. Which is something he didn't accomplish on Relapse. I am very happy with that part.
