this is his best album of all time.

it just is.

there's SOOOO much variety and it ALLLL works. Everything. The only songs on the album that don't necessarily "work" are the singles minus rap god... and even they fit into the album pretty damn well... fuck we all jizzed over rap god like crazy and i find myself skipping over it just to hear everything else..

the "big 3" albums were great because of their impact on society... and also had some fucking legendary songs... but this album doesn't have ANY drawbacks... survival and monster i can hardly call drawbacks considering there overwhelming popularity in the world (both top 10 on itunes)

i appreciate his older albums so much i grew up with them and they had such an impact on society... but damn...

i don't think he could've attacked this type of challenge any better.

edit: i understand its way too early to call it his best effort.. like damn the albums technically not even released yet haha... but each listen it gets better and better... and we already compared it to the top 3 on the first listen... read along on rap genius as you listen and its just... fuck man.. no words

So weird. Typically I value his emotional songs over his super lyrical stuff, because content comes first for me, but aside from Legacy, I'm not feeling the more emotional stuff. I prefer the "going off" type of songs more. Evil Twin, Rap God. I'm not sure what category you put Bad Guy in, feels like it has one foot in both.
