..... (i) Fact is that this track will appear on an official release (i.e. not free).

..... (ii) This is the first SOLO track that Eminem has put out in 3 years.

..... (iii) The track had new production, i.e. not just a freestyle over a random beat.

..... (iv) And, it was produced by Eminem. Which propelled the (pre-) hype for the track quite a bit .

2. Even if we consider this a "throw-away freeverse". Does that imply that the track holds no value in terms of reflecting the current Eminem? Well, both "I'm Having A Relapse" and "Despicable" was just that, throw-away freeverses...

3. Em has repeatedly said that one of his main motives for (still) making music is RESPECT. Then why would you not "do as well as you possibly can" on a release like this? Especially considering a lot of his peers also appear on this album.

Eminem has been the greatest selling artist of the past decade so Interacope/Jimmy have been doing something right if you ask me. Its the tactic they use. First, they mention eminems makin an album then they don't say shit to keep us in suspense. And as soon as we all begin to completely lose hope for an official announcement they shock us with a release date. Then we all buy his CD because we didnt invest in a whole year of not receiving any news for nothing. LOL

I dont remember it being this quite before his old albums dropped, I recall Em always called shade 45 once in a while and we got a little update or whatever. It just feels that we are so far away from an actual release date..

We probably would never hear this verse if it wasnt for this release. Basically, Tony Touch asked for a track and Em gave him something from the vault. Something that wasnt supposed to release. Lets admit that Eminem now is a bastard when it comes to things like that. He denied a bunch of possible classics collabs, what did you want with this Dj compilation? Yeah it is produced by him, but it doesnt mean shit. He probably produces tons of material, so SIH has nothing to do with his current sound considering the fact of being recorded about two years ago. Yeah, yeah, what about those Tony Touch line, it means also nothing. From the last years i've learned one thing - dont get too hype with every eminem's related thing unless it is meant to be fully his project. When its not - expect nothing special.

Also Eminem has to wait for just the right time to release. He can't release an album when a bunch of other rappers are releasing theirs. At the end of the day, all of his actions are for his own benefit and if I were him I wouldn't announce a release date until after skylar grey's album and release it about a month after, which also gives some time after Jay-Z's album. If I'm right the album won't be out until right before his shows, maybe late July. But if he decides to play it safe it wont come out until after his shows where he might debut a new single and the album releases in September/October. We just gotta be patient is all.
