No, this is not obvious. Not by a long shot.

Whilst it is logical for the album to be out before then, the shows so no devolution from Eminem's recent trend of performing in the summer months. Considering he will be performing from July/August on-wards, unless album information is released within the next two weeks, the album sales will suffer from lack of advertisement. This is fundamental for both Interscope and both future posters in this thread to realise.

Eminem has until October to release news. For all we know the album could surface in December.

All we have to go by is the fact that Jimmy has already stated that the show's will be of new music, it would also serve zero purpose and waste money and time to have show's full of Recovery song's when he has an album dropping in the near future, I also see no promotional value in performing song's that are 3 year's old other than the fact that he would be starting a tour again, considering the 2 rumoured date's are very close. Considering all of the rumour's going around now about the new album, they can only keep people talking for so long till there is nothing to talk about anymore. They don't want that, they want people to constantly talk about it to create more buzz. I expect any combination of a tracklist, album title or single (or single name) within a month and the album to drop within the next 2 month's, maybe sooner.

it's a fun forum for eminem fans to discuss what they can't really discuss in real life, or they don't really have an opportunity to...it's just that, this isn't real life...even life doesn't go in a straight line toward a certain or uncertain thing, so why should a topic...people mention one thing and it leads to the next...it's only human nature to diverge...it's a positive feedback type model

Okay, let me say first that it wasn't my decision to lock the original thread, but I will try and justify the thinking that went into it. There was a tonne of spam that went into that thread that wasn't even remotely related to Eminem. The thread was so huge and old that any sort of useful information had been completely lost.

This is just a fresh start, but with an attempt to keep the clutter down.

I think the thread is absolutely unnecessary because as there's some news as members of this forum will make new threads everytime (including me).

People enjoyed the old thread because there were so many pages but this thread is fucked up already (that's just my opinion).

This lack of news is starting to be strange. Concert dates this summer, yet we are almost in may and no news of the new single or the album...I thought those concert dates would help to presentate the news songs too, but people not going to know them by then...

I'll make you a bet that we get news by the end of May and it'll drop very early August or earlier.

See I think this is what should be happening. If it was a more reputable company in charge of this album with a history of great advertisement I would agree with you everyday.

But this album is Eminem's most secretive so far in his career, and I really think the lack of current information suggests that even Interscope are not aware of the release date yet.

Perhaps Em has certain tracks finished which he is happy to perform, but is still working on others which he is not 100% happy with.

At the end of the day, everything is just speculative conjecture. All we can do is guess and attempt to apply logic to what I feel is an illogical situation.
