I enjoy both, but disagree here. I think you even acknowledged it in maybe your second post in this thread, but Berzerk is way more enjoyable. Just in terms of listening and being excited about what you're hearing. Survival is good, but it's safe. There's nothing really exciting in it's format.

I also disagree with the third verse being bad. The second verse, yeah, but for obvious reasons. But the third verse I didn't think was that bad. I love the Monte Carlo delivery, and there was actually some good lines in there. Like, creative as opposed to the typical set up he's been going with.

For the record, I hated the toe jam line until someone pointed out it ties with the hook. Still not a great line, but makes it less random.

Ahh, thank you. I hated that part too, but this helps a little.

I like Berzerk much more than Survival. Some might consider Survival an improvement on Recovery, but otherwise it's more of the same old sound that we've had for a long time, which I was never terribly fond of to begin with. Berzerk is really, really fun! I don't have a problem with any of the verses. It made me actually excited for this album.

The whole line is ridiculous and doesn't make sense. The syntax is wrong, his use of wording (dislocate, rather than strain or tear) is wrong. It just makes the whole line shitty and detract from the song. Like I said, it's written to sound cool and it does "dislocate a rotator cuff" comes off the tongue so well, but it really doesn't make sense. That line is simply in it for the sake of rhyming.
