My friend when I was over at his house one day was playing music and than all of sudden that "Two trailer park girls go round the outside" plays and I'm falling in love with Without Me. He than showed me The Real Slim Shady music video, heard Big Weenie, Watched 8 Mile and was hooked by that point. Been a stan ever since.
MMLP era? Sounds more like 2004-2005-ish.

It was really really weird how I got into em, I never listened (thinking about it I didn't really listen to anything back then) until I saw some beats by dre and really wanted them, they looked so fucking cool ngl, so I was like, I know who dre is, but I've never heard anything by him so I went onto his youtube and I clicked on the first video (INAD) I watched it and WOW, it was like nothing I'd ever heard before, how someone could pour that much emotion and a story into a song with that much skill and rhyming going on, so I was like ... I need to get into this, I went onto em's wiki to see his discography and I saw TRRS and it was a title I recognised, saw it was in MMLP downloaded that and I was blown away! so I went back, saw TES was next and listened to that and I was like "where have you been my whole life!" and I became a stan, listened to all the albums and I've now listened to every song/skit/freestyle he's ever done (props to my man himshadow) so yeah that's it
