I hate waiting for this fucking album. I'm losing hope with every passing day that it will even leak at all. I was so sure it would leak by the end of the week and now I'm not even so sure it'll be leaked even before next weekend. It has gotta be here sometime next week...has to be.

I wonder if downloads are the new wave of the music industry to fight leaks.

Maybe no more cds sold in stores. Either you join a mailing list that ships the physical disc to your house or you download it from amazon or itunes or something. Or it's app related like Jay's last album.

This would save labels money because the only copies of the album they'd be selling would be ones that are already paid for, as opposed to estimating how many you plan on selling and being stuck with a couple thousand extra copies.

This will also almost certainly prevent leaks as it's individual discs being shipped to individual homes and not thousands of cds sitting in a warehouse.

Who knows what the future of music holds for us listeners...

Sweet.. I'm honestly not really a Stan though. I love hip-hop and have made it for ten years. MMLP and Devils Night were 2 of the first records I ever had. I remember the major impact they had on me. I listened to Recovery after it leaked for like a couple weeks, buy overall kind of lost my faith in Em until recently. I think he has been writing and recording a whole lot without worrying about outside insights, embracing more of his creative outlet. I think this record will be VERY good. Unless I'm wrong, and he still going for mass appealing songs.
