no kanyes emotional output does not trump eminems. You probably just enjoy kanyes artisitc direction more, just like how i enjoy eminems more. Kanyes highs are nowhere close to eminems highs. kanye does not touch eminem lyrically, not by a long shot. the only thing kanye brings to the table that is better than eminems atleast whens speaking of MBDTF is production.

@ Embase

I agree mate (based on what we have heard so far)
Monster may have a place in the album, but if it doesn't your assessment is right.

I wasn't saying that this album is not pop, but rather that it has been marketed as anything but.

I believe eminem is the GOAT of rapping, and hip-hop lyricism. But yeah, Kanye is definitely the GOAT producer for me. Ryan Lewis is pretty dope too.

I enjoyed some of 808s & Heartbreak but think Yeezus is a complete joke. College Dropout is still one of my all time favorite albums, but Kanye's whole act has gotten really annoying and his music sucks now.

I was really commenting on Em's inability to make an introspective classic.
Kanye fuelled MBDTF with his past criticism and used it to his advantage.

Yeezus is far from a travesty. Maybe economically because of poor sales, but the reviews are exceptional.
It's a creative, conceptual album. Rather refreshing I think.

Bullshit. He bit Death Grips' style, threw a bunch of sounds together struggling for bars the entire album, called himself Yeezus and expected people to eat the shit up.

Kanye has his head up his own ass. Simple as. "Different" is not always good. He is pretentious and thinks anything he makes is pure artistic genius.

When he was crafting songs like "Jesus Walks," that's a different story.

Making whatever weird electronica mess Yeezus was and trying to pass it off as genius is ridiculous.

As hard as he tries, he's never gonna make a Lose Yourself, or a Till I Collapse. Especially these days when he's more interested in rapping about designer labels and how godly he is.

If you like Kanye, that's cool. But when Em is at his songwriting best, like the tracks I mentioned -- no one is seeing him.

There's obviously some kind of security they've sent WITH the cds, someone would have it by now. New shipments arriving in new countries every day.

This makes me wonder if there really is some sort of technology on the CDs which make it impossible to hear its content until the scheduled time.

Actually it does. He wanted to experiment with Auto-Tune, there's nothing wrong with that. I personally didn't like it but it doesn't matter, he was doing what he wanted.

If it's done tastefully, and artistically, I think it's great. If you overdo it, then you ruin it.

Eminem and TRshady have done a great job in making me a less productive college student today, which I expect them to do tomorrow as well. THIS LEAK BETTER COME TOMORROW OR IM GONNA DIE. Goodnight.

Yeah like some kind of wireless magnetic activation. Shit they have been using that kind of technology in the military for 30 + years. Good point.
