He made a point though. That only Em knows the meaning and thought process behind this album. Nobody does at this point, we've only heard 4 songs. It makes no sense to sit here and analyze something we haven't heard or say we know where Em should be coming from with his music.

Wow. That's completely different. EmBase was acting like he knows where Em should be coming from with this album, after only hearing 4 songs and knowing the title of the album. it has nothing to do with what the artist thinks of their own music, but about the thought process behind it. How can anyone act like they know Eminems thought process at all, let alone after only hearing 4 tracks, it's stupid and shows how scared people are that more songs will be similar to Monster and this album won't be any good.

This is a faulty analogy. We're talking about an artist's ability to understand a previous body of work that he created. That is completely different than just saying "Kanye thinks it's good so we should agree".

Okay, it remains.... You're saying we shouldn't try to comprehend what MMLP was in concept.. because only Eminem knows it's not worth talking about or sharing our opinion on the album/it's meaning.

I haven't been this embarrassed to be an Em fan in a long time.

Yeah we can't form an opinion on the album as a whole, but we can form an opinion on what we think the albums going to sound like based on the 4 tracks we've heard.

And judging on that, it sounds like the album will have god awful production, his flow will be the worst it's ever been and all over the fucking place just like it's been the last 2 years, and won't even be as raw as some of the raw records on Recovery, which is fucking sad.

Honestly, if he was going to release this shit, he should have named it something different. Call it one of the tracks on the album or something, maybe Berzerk would have been a better album title. His flow seems to be berserk and all over the place all the fucking time now.

The Monster is a cool song 7/10.

The album needs to leak though, I can't even do my homework or something else because I'm afraid it's gonna leak. Damn Em we are fucking going crazy.

You just seriously don't get it. just cause it's called MMLP2 doesn't mean it's coming from the same place as the original. Most of us figured that and Eminem himself confirmed that. It was 13 years ago. Nobody is saying don't judge these 4 songs, but jumping to conclusions about an entire album is senseless. And thinking it should come from the same mindset as the original is senseless as well, because that's not true at all.

I don't like Survival or Monster for this album either tbh, because it know they were made with a video game or radio play in mind. And not just good music Em wanted to put together regardless of how it sounds. But this is modern Em, if we have to get 2-3 of those tracks and still get a great album, so be it. But nobody will know until we hear the whole thing.

Let's call the album a sure classic after Rap god, and proceed to judge it after monster and lose all hope.. makes no sense to me.
