I didn't mind it. I think Rihanna was a bit unnecessary even though I liked her singing here for once, the beat was a bit poppy but not too bad and I like what he's saying in the verses. It isn't a song I'd play a lot off the album and I know it isn't going to be close to being my favourite or his best.

It's probably why I'm not too disappointed, lol. I still wanna see how it fits on the album as a whole too, plus we have five or six bonus tracks to replace it with if you don't like it that much lol.

Fosho, I really can't stand it though. Not my cup of tea..

lol i cant wait for the album to be amazing, and for you whiny people to shut the fuck up. Its really stupid to say "he shouldnt have called the album that" "lol recovery two", when you havent heard the 11 OTHER SONGS, 16 counting the bonus tracks lol. holy fuck.. didnt see at all what was wrong with his flow on monster or rap god to be honest.

At the end of the day even if this shit sucks..
If I wanna hear some of the sickest rapping ever I can go listen to SSLP
If I wanna hear a great combination of everything from production to technically sound rapping I'll go listen to MMLP
If I just wanna get amped and just vibe I'll go listen to TES

Eminem is still gonna be a GOAT regardless but I was just wishful in thinking I'd have one more to add to that collection of albums I will be listening to 10 years later.. just hearing the rhymes like: "fuck that is ill" or "this beat is ridiculous".. Those albums still have that affect on me after hearing them too any times.. I just wanted one more Em album with that kind of replay value and effect..

But like I said: I am skeptical at this point of MMLP2 and I HOPE I am wrong. Berzerk I can bump at any time right now.. Rap God is very replayable.. I can only hope there are more gems than there are The Monsters.

Until then, I will continue to shit on The Monster and how shitty it was for Em to sit down and decide it was meant for MMLP2.

It's absolutely incredible and I'd say even further ahead of most of his MMLP1 and TES stuff. On fire was incredible as well. If Eminem were to die tomorrow Recovery might just become one of his most revered albums.

Wait for MMLP2 to drop for it to receive the Relapse treatment

It's really good, but top 5? Nah, you got 3rd verse Lose Yourself, one of the verses from 8 Mile, Rabbit Run etc.

I disagree in everyway.. No Love is cool but he's had entirely too many insane verses content and technically wise that are far superior.. Recovery doesn't have the production quality to compete with his 3 classics.

It was 13 years ago. Nobody is saying don't judge these 4 songs, but jumping to conclusions about an entire album is senseless. And thinking it should come from the same mindset as the original is senseless as well, because that's not true at all.

I don't like Survival or Monster for this album either tbh, because it know they were made with a video game or radio play in mind. And not just good music Em wanted to put together regardless of how it sounds. But this is modern Em, if we have to get 2-3 of those tracks and still get a great album, so be it. But nobody will know until we hear the whole thing.

Let's call the album a sure classic after Rap god, and proceed to judge it after monster and lose all hope.. makes no sense to me.

I never.....NEVER....called the album a sure fire classic after Rap God. Em doesn't have it in him to make a true classic anymore.

But he does have the capability to make his Stillmatic, a follow up to his best that is dope as fuck. This isn't shaping up to be that.....shit....this isn't shaping up to be better than Relapse or Recovery at all, and is shaping to be Encore level or worse.

You guys can't see that Em is using that same 2012-2013 flow on every song we've heard. It works on Rap God, because it's just purely a showcase of lyrical ability. But I would bet my life he'll be using that Here Comes the Weekend, Richard, SiH flow on the whole album. Mark my words.

lol wtf. so the monster has just put you to the cliff and youve already jumped off. I hate doomsayers like you. so abnoxious, all you do is spread negativity, accomplishes nothing except people getting annoyed with you. and encore levels or worse? lol i would take any of these four songs over anything on encore, except we as americans or love you more lol. have you listened to encore lately, cuz you must not have to formulate such a ridiculous assumption.

Honestly I was just thinking about Top 5 verses from Eminem and there are far too many fucking amazing verses and not one of his top 10 are from Recovery. TBH.. Not trying to hate on Recovery it was fine lyrically just no verse from there is in my Top 10.. IDK probably not even Top 20. Eminem has just killed it some much on SSLP, MMLP, TES and his features along the way.

Yeah, album is dope. Em shouted out TR and says he's going to sign up and battle Menzo in the battling section here.

So baby make just like K-Fed and let yourself go, let yourself go

Even Rap God doesn't touch shit like Criminal, Way I Am, Stan, Marshall Mathers, etc. Not even close.

It's because everything else has been so fucking underwhelming you guys are overrating it. The beat is whack, and he has some good bars on it, along with some really whack lines. It's not better than A LOT of of stuff on Relapse and Recovery or Hell the Sequel. It's still a solid track though.

It's better to skip one song than replace it for another tbh
At least that's how I'll be doing
