Both of them are not "poppy" like most Eminem fans are afraid of. They're very soulful from what I can tell, and would appeal to the 13 year old girl fans that Eminem picked up from Recovery without compromising the sound of the song.
I only brought her up because I was surprised you didn't, since you mentioned her when we were chatting about stuff the other day.
She can certainly do more than a shared hook, but you kinda get the best of both worlds if you have Em and a singer on a hook. Plus, I tend to like shared hooks I think they sound really cool.
Definitely more of a soulful sounding voice.
