Anyway this was the first day after the album leaked that I didn't listen to it at all. I think this mini break will do me good.

Same for me except I still heard a majority of the album. I probably need a little break from it.

Idk about y'all, but I expect the album to take on new life for me once I learn all the lyrics. :y:

I've listened to it 10 or so times now and I do like it, but I feel like most fans are blowing it way out of proportion. The rhymes are great, lyrics and flows are tight and even a bit jaw-dropping, but I didn't feel a whole lot of personality from the individual songs. I attribute that to the double-time speed on most songs, it takes away the memorability I believe, as well as the ability to easily get loud while driving and rapping along. It's a fantastic album, and he certainly put the emotion behind it. I just think it could have benefited from some slower and punchier songs. It's all about creating a GOOD song, whether or not you're the fastest rapper or you have the biggest vocabulary. But when it comes down to it, I love every Em album for what it is, even Encore. They all represent a time period we can't get back

Keep telling yourself that. I wish Em proved me wrong. In a way he did cuz when I predicted MMLP 2 he did make it, but it was nothing like I had hoped for. So yea unfortunately he proved me wrong.

Yes lol thought I was going to break the cd when I first took it out the case.

mine has lil cracks in the paint on top of the disk cuz I was bending it...if it skips, I'm taking it back for a new copy

I just got a new copy, since my first cd was scratched . Wanted a refund, but they can only give u store credit. It shouldn't be called MMLP 2.

How can you hate Bad Guy, Rhyme or Reason, So Much Better, Groundhog Day, Legacy, Baby, Brainless, Rap God, Headlights, Evil Twin, Beautiful Pain, and even tracks like Desperation, So Far, Love Game.

Only weak songs on the album are Survival and The Monster, and I could take or leave Asshole and Berzerk. Asshole he drops bars though.

Have not heard, deluxe still in the mail. I don't do the Utube for songs on an album. R those bonus tracks really any good?

Baby is classic shady, Groundhog Day is straight up for the hip hop heads, Cardiak drops an ill beat. These two should have made the album 100%.

Desperation the verses are just decent or alright, but Jamie N Commons sounds great on the hook. This one grew on me. Beautiful Pain is dope. Should have replaced The Monster on the regular album. Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better. Wicked Ways the sentence splitting and word splitting gets to be a little much, this song is decent to me.

So yeah they're pretty good.

It takes nothing away from the album and it doesn't even ruin the songs, like the accents did. But it does get to be a little much here and there. Exis-TED!!! The first half of the 2nd verse on Bad Guy is the only reason that's not a 10/10 song.

And to be honest, Beautiful Pain's hook is much more memorable than Monster. Would've made for a much better radio single.

I don't understand why some of you think the Monster is not going to be a successful radio single. Once promotion for this song starts up it will dominate the radio and billboard charts for a very long time. I think it can potentially top the success of LTWYL. It is a good thing none of you are Paul Rosenberg.
