Headlights is one of the songs that does this to me for a few different things, in particular the second piano note after Ruess sings 'I drive on'.

Then this magical line, where the pureness of the delivery leaves me with my ears grinning from eyes to mouth. "And I was the man of the house, the oldest, so my shoulders carried the weight of the load". Does anyone else feel the divine flow of this line?

I dont know.. this is just my brain interpreting songs like usual.

I'm like that too. That moment on "Headlights" for me is when Ruess sings "Too faarrrrrrrrrrrr" while it's matched with a brass organ synth thingy in the same key. It's gorgeous.

The hook is amazing on Legacy, noticed that first time hearing it.

That song could have and should have been the next single.

I like his progression during the song.

1st verse: Depressed/pissed
2nd verse: Starting to understand. Finding his talents.
3rd verse: Confident. FUCK YOU I'M GONNA BE A RAP GOD

I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line

Relapse can't touch MMLP2, especially when you take into consideration the bonus disc.

I still think Baby should've replaced Brainless on the main disc.

Your opinion and we all have them.....but Brainless is fucking 10!!! Fuck outta here.

I really don't think anyone thats been an Em fan for at least 10 years or so could dislike Brainless. That is the shit I wish he'd do more of now, that beat is ill, the flow and delivery on the 2nd and 3rd verses. Damn that shits dope man.

Menzo wrote:So, I thought I'd give MMLP2 a break today and I didn't listen to it on the way to work. Instead I listened to Nas' Life Is Good. Fantastic album this deep into his career, great rapping, flows and some pretty neat concepts. But at work, I had MMLP2 on my mind so I decided I'd listen to it on the drive home from work and God fucking damn it, it's such a refreshing spin.

WHEW!

The only thing anyone could hate on Nas for are these two things....

Some of his albums don't sound too much different than the last

and

His flow and delivery doesn't really ever change too much ,he's not nearly as versatile as someone like Eminem on the mic.

Agree. I'd may even go as far as taking off two take or leave tracks like Asshole and Berzerk, slapping those two on the bonus, and adding Baby and Desperation.
