Shit but what I am worried about is Em just rehashing topics. If this is a dark album I don't want to see him just do a Relapse without accents. I'm still wondering if the topic of Detroit will be present.

Don't mind him rehashing some earlier topics, a lot of the shit he talked about is still relevant, don't see how he could not do some Relapse-ish crap but to do with Freedom of Speech, Politics, the celebrity culture shoved down everyone's throats.

We need a new Eminem album. Nothings fucking changed. Society's still as fucked up as it ever was. The same lonely, ignored or abused kids shooting up schools, making homemade bombs. Politicians still lying, stealing our livelihoods, making us pay for their mistakes, all backed by mainstream media obsessed with creating and maintaining a culture of fear, hate and intolerance. Its like living in a fucking matrix..so many ppl walkin around with closed eyes...

To be fair though, Em's first 3 albums haven't really been touched by anyone else either. His next album could be in the same atmosphere but doesn't surpass them. And that'd be perfectly fine.

I think the beats play a major role tbh because they influence how he interprets the concepts/flows. Even something as random and throwaway as "Symphony In H" is so much more smoother than most of the songs he's been on that aren't his beats. He just becomes one with his (and Dre's) production and it's fucking beautiful.

Yep. Production's a huge thing with Em and pretty much any rapper. A beat is half the painting. Production always matters. It has to fit with the theme of whatever you're talking about. It's like if you were to hop on the Black and Yellow beat and rap about horrorcore. It's not consistent (and probably cringe-worthy).
