It just doesn't seem like they were having problems, but rather the two of them departed due to their own shit. They had that whole argument about leaving the group, so why the hell would it point to them not being able to record? Swifty was pissed as shit when they left, and that led to those twitter arguments. Kuniva was sad about all the shit happening, so, if a group was having problems all the time, why would they seem so disappointed with each other leaving? It looked like it came out of the blue. In the case of not hearing about the album, we didn't know shit about MMLP2 until a month or two ahead. We obviously knew Em was recording, but other than that, it was just an album. I never heard anyone say that they weren't recording, and following the 2.0 cypher, one of the guys were still talking about D12 coming. So yes, I agree with CP, it seemed pretty damn certain that we were coming close.

If you want to even be part of an argument or whatever you think that is... bring some valid points to it 'cuz I gave you a link that shows two of the members left the group at the time you think D12 have certainly been close to dropping an album.
You had another bold statement in this last post... it was officially announced Em is working on his 8th solo album like at least a year ago or so. That's how they do... they announce a project & start holding sessions for it... even then the given album is not close to be released 'cuz that's a process. Let alone if an album hasn't even been announced while there have been like 4 other Shady Records albums in the works..

I would have easily agreed with you if it was about D12 (not all of them together) been working on side projects or trying to do so post Em comeback but you actually said we've been *this close* of getting a D12 project at some point & this can't never be a fact. I mean if you were talking about an official album of course.

Saying that we were *this close* is more of a personal opinion due to all the information around the time. Royce saying we were getting a D12 album, Fuzz actually being signed to Shady as a member of D12, etc. I think there is more than enough there to be able to say "something official was in the works" at least.

There was not even a project done yet so we'd be even close of getting it... not to mention there haven't been enough sessions to even have a batch of songs that could result into shaping an album.
The other things is there were too many creative differences in the group & Mr.Porter said he's leaving the group 'cuz of it.

I didn't really mean we were *this close* to it being released, but *this close* to them starting something and the hype machine being turned on. I bet we would have gotten word on it pretty soon had it not fallen apart, but I will agree with you on the creative difference. Although, I think it's not really fair for you to say "there haven't been enough sessions", since you (and I) really have no idea how much time Em spent with them in studio around the time that the rumblings were happening.

Basically they couldn't even get on the same page if we talk about subject matter or whatever so they couldn't even get to a point of getting into the studio & working on an actual Shady records official album which was never planned to be as all the rest projects that came in that EM post comeback period of time...

I think we've been closer than you do, and that's fine, since neither of us can actually know for sure. Considering what has happened, I think it's fair to say that it was at least very heavily considered.

I love D12 & I was the one who brought that it'd be great if Em went full circle with having a D12 album after MMLP2 & I certainly hope for it but realistically this is nearly impossible at this point.

In general I was talking about a future project & you probably misunderstood 'cuz you were actually talking about the past. I mean I brought some points that would make it hard for us to get a D12 album after MMLP2 if hypothetically that was about to happen & if we assumed there is no issues in the group.
Again, the label situation would definitely be a factor but like I said not the only one & definitely not decisive...
I agree it won't be nowhere near important compared to if there were still issues in the group.

Yeah, realistically I never see it happening. They can't seem to organize themselves and get on the same page anymore. Maybe one day they will surprise us, but it's much easier to count D12 out at this point.

You are right in general... I think just a song or two are still at least possible even in near future though... & I hope for that too.
