Just saying that a certain song I love so much and think is perfect is a top 30-40 songs shows how many fuckin' classics the guy has, both album and non-album songs.

I don't think I'll ever enjoy STIW. It's now become the only song I skip. The Monster video did a great job of selling me on the song. Headlights gets me choked up every listen. STIW is just...

I mean, would the album really suffer if he never made that song/put it on the album?

I think Monster and Asshole, although I liked both, could have been left off without affecting the tone or feel of the album. All the other songs had to be there imo. Rap God, Brainless, So Far, Rhyme Or Reason -- songs with very distinct sounds that define this MMLP 2 era.

But STIW could have been left off and I don't think the album suffers as a result.

Whenever I listen to the album in the car with my girlfriend she always wants to listen to those 2 so I've grown to like both of them.

Next time, strap her in with an extension cord and put on Same Song and Dance

Funny thing is, the only other verse that inevitably comes to mind as stiff competition is Rap God 3rd verse. Em competing with himself again.

Lal. He probably takes up the top 10 best verses tbh

Beautiful Pain is nice. I enjoy the beat and verses a lot. Hook is ehh, alright but I think Rihanna would have been better on that instead of The Monster. The Monster is actually good too, I enjoy it after the video I think that video really bumped it up in my book.

As for Stronger Than I Was, it's actually dropped. It's a good song, for appropriate moments. That song imo is a "mood" song, you just gotta be in a certain mood to listen to it. I'm the same way about Headlights, sometimes that shit is just too much for me. It's a 10/10 song for the idea alone and he executed it perfectly so it's not bad by any means but I have to listen to that song only like once a week lol. It nearly made me cry the other day when I listened to it after so long.

Wicked Ways has grown but only slightly really. Just because of some of the stuff he says and everything, the beat isn't bad at all. The only thing I really don't like about it tbh is the hook and it's not really terrible just not my cup of tea and not something I wanna hear before an Eminem verse. Asshole's hook is still very very terrible though lol.

I'm really trying to listen to songs I don't really fuck with like Legacy, Wicked Ways and The Monster
