Not really. If you analize well you would see that a lot of rappers that are making it on the mainstream got the things i mention, and the most praised undergrounds rappers too.

Example on mainstream... Young Money in general, Rick Ross, Kanye, Masta Ace, YG, etc

Example on underground... R.A The rugged man, MF Doom, Benefit, Inmortal Technique, etc.

Of course is not always the case.

Don't get me wrong, its fucking awesome, when he came back out for the love the way you lie transition into those songs it was phenomenal. It's just that if I had a choice for certain songs to be replaced 3AM would be one of them.
