True that... it's way more complicated if we talk about D12.
At the end of the day another single would still do great without any cameos in it though...

true that man
i would love a video for brainless or legacy

Oh it will defo do great, but for a personal tribute to mark this era in his career, the cameos would be dope :y:

We have to wait & see... like I've said many times it'll definitely have one more though. Let's see...

Can we please talk about how fuckin' good "So Far..." is.

The flow, the storytelling, the throwback references, the rhyming. And that intro + bridge is GOAT. Oh yeah, AND the Beasties reference in the chorus.

I wouldn't mind if this was the kind of direction he was headed in, just great, comedic storytelling that gives insight into his current perspectives on the modern world.

Not forgetting the best double entendre on the album, (Lowkey/Loki)that little section with the beat change is on some Geeky genius shizzle

Yes it is an incredible song. The lyrics, beat, and overall sound and feel is very unique and refreshing to hear. Such a great track. I too wouldn't mind if he went in this direction but I also would be interested to hear Em's take on politics and certain modern day issues. Like I kind of want him to reference Obama directly and give his opinion of the US government similar to how he did on The Eminem Show and Encore. I guess just that social and political commentary is one of the very few things I thought the album could have had to make it even better. I miss Em's political songs tbh.

Yeah, I kinda miss his political references and agree that a few would have been very welcome on this album. That said, i'm not sure the political stuff really fits in with the Slim Shady persona all that well.

"No more N'sync, now I'm all out of whack."
MMLP2 might be to me what Relapse is to Embase, the quality of Em's writing in this shit is best it has EVER been.
MMLP Em couldn't pull this shit off.

I think, and this is just my personal opinion TR please don't hurt me, that a lot of what makes MMLP Em seem so untouchable is the "ha ha, look how I'm effortlessly flowing like a river stuntin' on yo bitch ass" delivery. Em, for some reason, can't to do that anymore so he has to make up for it somehow.
MMLP Em couldn't have made Rap God. Em's technical ability right now is leagues ahead of what it was then.
His wit is still brilliant as ever, I still say that "here's the sequel to my Mathers LP just to try to get people to buy" is among the wittiest and "omg, he really just said that" he has ever spit.
Then think about the "...insert insult here" line on Brainless, after which he proceeds to blatantly bait homosexuals and people still didn't get it.
Or the wry, self deprecating humour on So Far.
Or the sheer poetic brilliance on the last verse of Bad Guy, which is, in my not so humble opinion, the greatest hip hop song of this decade.
Then consider the detail, the way lines make perfect sense taken at face value but hold a deeper meaning.
MMLP2 is GOAT guys, I don't know how else to say it.
