Haven't listened to MMLP2 in awhile (I burn out on Em fast when I overplay shit lmao), but Berzerk is EASILY a top 5 Em song all time for me. Too addictive.

STIW grew on me. I really don't think it's from Kim's POV.

& What's more important for artists of his caliber, he still connects very well with the masses & gains new waves of fans every time around he drops an album. :y: I don't think he'll be able to do that in his 50's so he better be super active in the next 5-6 years or so.
On another note I play Don't Front extremely loud right now... lol

Yes it's amazing how he 's able to hook kids right in this late in his career.. Goat
 .. Gonna have to bump his album, it's been a while for me

Yeah his charisma & mass appeal are still there...

It kinda sound like it was really done in the 90's... such an epic throwback. :worship:

Yeah, oldchool sound, love it. :y:

Technically 90's or Second golden era sound/feel... Unlike to what old & new school mean in general those two terms only reflect to two specific very early eras if we talk about Hip-hop & esp. if you added Sound or Feel at the end of it. ;)

I've just realised I've been listening to a sped up version of Don't Front on YouTube all this time :facepalm
Now the normal version seems ridiculously slow

That sucks bro! Because now your mind gets used to how you think the song is so when you hear the real song, it doesn't sound right. Shit that sucks!

That's why I'm so wary of YouTube music because once a few years ago, I was listening to Till I Collapse on YouTube just to see what it was like and something sounded off. After a listen or two I found out it was that his voice was just a tad bit too high pitched. Weird versions of a song are often on YouTube and can ruin a song for you. Lesson of the story: Don't use YouTube when listening to a song unless it is like the music video or something.

Use Grooveshark if you want to hear a song for free. :y:

I always do when I'm on my computer mate but I've been listening to the song via YouTube on my iPhone.
I hear what your saying about YouTube cause I told my mate (casual Em fan) to listen to Asshole cause I knew he'd like it but he told me it was the worst song he'd heard from him and when I listened to the version he'd downloaded from YT it was the biggest pile of shit ever. It was so sped up his voice sounded SSLP style and the beat was going about 200mph. I was like - how the fuck could you possible think that was what the song actually sounded like?? Lol

I was like that with the Drama Setter chorus for a while. I first heard it in fanmade remix, and then sounded ridiculously slow when I heard it properly.

This album (actually practically all of his albums) when you overplay them too much sound better when you look at them from a different perspective. If you listen to the album mixed with other songs from Eminem's discography, it all sounds amazing. The different styles and sounds across his 8 studio albums make for an amazing listen when shuffling through songs. I think it's when you get bogged down on one particular album or one song that you start to get bored of the album/song and then tired of his music for a while. But when I started listening to his older albums a lot mixed in with his newer stuff, it all sounded great. I swear, it really made me appreciate Recovery and Relapse more. I really think all of his albums are awesome when looking through his whole discography not just a little part of it. All of his albums are amazing in their own way when you shuffle all of his songs. I really appreciate all of them now. :y:

This :y:

I've been doing this the last couple of days, just stuck all the tracks I have on a playlist and put it on shuffle and just...woah. You almost experience the songs in a similar way to the first time you heard them.

As for Don't Front - Definitely my favourite at the moment. Such a throwback. One thing that I also really like about it is how it brings together some of the sound of Infinite but with Em's own true sound now.

Would love to hear Em on those boom bap, bass-reliant Don't Front type beats more often. Heres to hoping. :y: :b:

Yeah Don't Front definitely had some Infinite sounds yet also a few times on the record Eminem sounded like his style on Recovery. It doesn't take away anything from the track, just something I noticed.

Don't Front reminds me of Open Mic, beat-wise.
