I've taken a break from this album for the past couple weeks to listen to my favourites: TES and MMLP. Quite honestly, i like TES better than MMLP2 but it's not far off from MMLP, I think I like them equally.

Spend Some Time has that fantastic (though a bit monotone) Em verse. But everybody else was trash on that song tbh

I've been listening to the two D12 albums recently for a change. I still listen to a few of the songs from MMLP2 daily but I've well overplayed some of them
Q. What did Eminem say to 50 when he caught him wearing a sweater?
A. GEE YOU KNITT??

I ain't no fucking G, I'm a cannibal
I ain't tryin to shoot you, I'm tryin to chop you into pieces and eat you
Wrap you in rope and plastic, stab you with broken glass

If I could change one thing about MMLP2, it would have more Skits

1. 13 Years Ago/Then And Now (Skit) [starts off with Stan driving off the bridge, it then cuts to Matthew getting a knife and cocking a gun, while mumbling negative things about Em. At the same time you can hear Criminal playing in the background.]

2. Bad Guy

3. Parking Lot (Skit)

4. Rhyme Or Reason

5. So Much Better

6. The Last 3 Years (Skit) [You hear a series of voice clips basically of fans saying that he fell off and that he's not relevant anymore, saying that he's wrecking his legacy and that he should retire. You then hear a voice (Em) sigh, then you hear foot steps, then a door slamming.

7.Survival

8. Legacy

9. Asshole (feat. Skylar Grey)

10. Berzerk

11. Rap God

12. Brainless

13. Stronger Than I Was

14. Confessions (Skit) [This skit features Em and Rihanna. Basically, a door opens and Rihanna asks him how he's doing and asks if he brought the tape (the VHS tape in the video) and he says yes and that it'll feel really good to get some things off his chest.

15. The Monster (feat. Rihanna)

16. So Far

17. Love Game (feat. Kendrick Lamar)

18. A Message (Skit) [You hear a pencil writing on paper, then you hear Royce walk in and say "So, you gonna write her that some you were telling me about?" Em replies with a yes, and continues to write, the audio fades into the next song]

19. Headlights (feat. Nate Ruess)

20. Evil Twin
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again?
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line

Like I'm locked up inside a shot up Bonnie and Clyde car
Uncle Ronnie is driving, 'bout to burst in through the side door
Of Arkham Asylum and park in the dining room

THANK YOU, TRSHADY!!!

While I do agree with the idea of more skits, I think those could do with a bit of tweaking.

ShadyOnFire wrote:1. 13 Years Ago/Then And Now (Skit) [starts off with Stan driving off the bridge, it then cuts to Matthew getting a knife and cocking a gun, while mumbling negative things about Em. At the same time you can hear Criminal playing in the background.]

Much of Bad Guy's appeal is that you don't know it's Matthew. So I'd take off the Stan driving part, and just have Matthew (who we assume is Em) getting a knife and gun while Desperadoes is playing in the background. Rename it "Water Under The Bridge" to give a hint about Bad Guy.

6. The Last 3 Years (Skit) [You hear a series of voice clips basically of fans saying that he fell off and that he's not relevant anymore, saying that he's wrecking his legacy and that he should retire. You then hear a voice (Em) sigh, then you hear foot steps, then a door slamming.

While I feel like this is a fantastic idea for a skit, I wouldn't put it right before what is arguably the most boring song on the entire album. I'd put it right before Rap God.

14. Confessions (Skit) [This skit features Em and Rihanna. Basically, a door opens and Rihanna asks him how he's doing and asks if he brought the tape (the VHS tape in the video) and he says yes and that it'll feel really good to get some things off his chest.

Hmm...Maybe. I like the idea of segwaying into the Monster music video, but I'm not sure if it's a necessarily a necessary skit.

I'd suggest a skit after The Monster and before So Far (to help smooth the sudden jarring change in tone) called

Paul (Skit): [Paul walks into the studio to see Em fiddling with a computer, trying to get it to work, swearing under his breath. Paul reaches over to help, but Em gives up and throws the computer against the wall. Paul then tries to suggest some sort of collaboration with another corporation (Nike, perhaps) to boost sales for MMLP2, to which Em responds by punching him the face. Cut to him leaving the studio and instantly getting harassed by fans. Already in a bad mood, Em responds by getting into the black car he's always in with his bodyguards, pushing aside the driver and running over the fans.

18. A Message (Skit) [You hear a pencil writing on paper, then you hear Royce walk in and say "So, you gonna write her that some you were telling me about?" Em replies with a yes, and continues to write, the audio fades into the next song]

I like this idea. But we know that (in Headlights at least) Em says that he wrote the song on a plane. At the start of the song we can even hear the sounds you'd hear in an airport. Thus, I propose this:

Last Flight (skit): You hear the sounds of Em scribbling on a piece of paper. Ambient plane noises can be heard in the background. Suddenly, something breaks. You hear the pilot panicking over the radio. Em begins to write faster and more furiously. You hear him crying. Then you hear the stewardesses yell "BRACE, BRACE". Crash.
