Eh.. Em's second verse on Amityville is one of his best, the beat and the hook are crazy and that intro is sick too. His verse on Remember Me is legendary too.

Remember me was so much less experimental though and tbh, it was probably just a filler track. I mean ya his rhymes were better, but that's about it. The hook on Berzerk>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Remember Me. Also I'd argue his delivery is better on Berzerk. This album has the POTENTIAL to be pretty close to the mmlp and maybe even TES (my fav rap album).

I'm hoping: TES>MMLP>MMLP2>>SSLP>Relapse>>>Recovery>>>>Encore
I'm confidant: TES>MMLP>>>SSLP>MMLP2>Relapse>>Recovery>>>>Encore

Plus if it's bad, people will say he bleached his hair/called it MMLP2 just to sell a few cd's and that would piss me off because we know Em ain't like that. But hopefully he knows what he has exposed himself to and will deliver.

You know if this album is a classic then Eminem will probably be considered as the best rapper alive. If it's trash he'll just be a great rapper who fell off. Weird.

Right, but these are all consequences - nothing to do with the quality of the actual music. And at the end of the day, the reason I'm a fan of Eminem, is because of the music. The rest is just noise.

That said, Em is on record saying that the main reason as to why he's still in the game is RESPECT. Would he name this album MMLP2 if it didn't make sense?

Just realized that this album won't be eligible for the 2014 Grammys, not that anyone really cares though.

So supposedly Koolo has the opportunity to buy a couple tracks from mmlp2. One track has his verse and 2 empty ones for 2 features and the other track has all three verses but it doesn't have a hook and supposedly its reserved for a rhianna feature... Can't post links yet but the thread is over at ktt. Check the Em threads comment section.

My expectations are an album on par lyrically with Relapse, but without the overt horrorcore content and accent. Not that the album won't have dark imagery, but Relapse was a fun record about killing people. It was disturbing at times, but mostly amusing. Kind of like most of the underground horror scene, mostly just horrific for jokes. I'd imagine MMLP2 to be more dark in a personal sense, letting Eminem explore his demons and frustrations and anger. It won't be goofy like Relapse or serious like Recovery. It should be a mixture between the two, which is what made his early material so amazing.

Songs like Stan, If I had..., KIM, Who Knew and etc...they were great lyrical songs with a message conveying his emotions. But they were also freaking funny as hell. He was venting, making us laugh and dropping multies all over the place. That's brilliant. The problem with his material post TES is that he doesn't mix all this stuff together as much. Sometimes, a song is lyrical but has no point. Or it's serious, but dull and not that lyrical.

I loved Relapse and like Recovery a lot, but my hope is MMLP2 will blend his different sides together again. Berzerk is a good sign. It's a goofy first single, but unlike Just Lose It or We Made You...it actually has a point that he can flesh out with the rest of his album. It's weird and funny, but he's saying something too. I can't wait to see what the rest of the CD sounds like.

Oh, and nice forum you guys have here.

Me too. A collaboration with her on MMLP2 really wouldn't bode well for the content of the rest of the album if he's still trying to appeal to 13 year old girls.
