Of course every album is different, but it's just that.. different. You can't fairly compare albums against each other.

Bad Guy may have a legendary 4th verse (and part of the 3rd verse as well) but Stan is a better song overall. You can't deny that.

Exactly. And Bad Guy won't have an impact on culture like Stan had.

Stan is a much better song because it was so unique. I mean, that word is part of hip hop lingo now. It made an impact in rap that will last forever.

That being said, the last verse on Bad Guy is, in my opinion, the best verse on the album, and one of his best verses ever, given the subject matter.

His self awareness is scary.

Well I think you can have objective/unbiased opinions, and also personal opinions.

For example, I love Business. I think it's comically underrated and truth be told, I play it a lot. A lot more than Lose Yourself.

Do I think it's a better song than Lose Yourself? Absolutely not. On a day to day basis, I'd probably prefer it over Lose Yourself, as I only listen to Lose Yourself when I want to get motivated, but I can see clearly, yes, in part because of social impact, that Lose Yourself is better.

With Stan/Bad Guy, I rarely, if ever, listen to Stan. I understand it's considered one of his best, but personally, I really have to be in the mood to listen to it. But, again, if the conversation is, which one is a better song, I think objectively, it's Stan. There has to be some sort of tiebreaker, to me. Hooks, beats, verses, are personal opinion. But if we look at its critical/fan reception, its societal/commercial influence -- then the conversation is more tangible and concrete, because we can actually measure those things.

What's errbody's general feeling on the album now?

I'm still feeling a solid 7, the first 10 spins in particular were WOW-factor, the music of the shit sounded so dramatic and weird, sounded intense...

All the songs are solid-to-dope-to-helladope, but it's a ''bunch of dope tracks'' kinda album to me as apposed to a very cohesive and focused ALBUM... sticking wit my 7 en.

Berzerk-RapGod-Brainless-STIW-TheMonster is an awesome and a perfect order, SoFar-LoveGame-Headlights-EvilTwin as well as BadGuy-Skit-RoR

Only places where it doesn't sound cohesive is around So Much Better through Asshole.

Yeah Berzerk and Rap God... and Brainless - those three in particular flow and go well together.

Surprising given how different they all are from each other sonically too.

So Far flows so well in to Love Game that you could still swear the song didn't change, but I still can't figure out if that's really good or really bad. As in, is it TOO well? I dunno, both songs are hella dope also doe.

The other day I was listening to the album and something just clicked. Everything about it was perfect, particularly the light-hearted tracks. I enjoy listening to this album more than The Eminem Show, but that's probably just from overplaying it. 9.5 for me

Still an 8, easily.

The only weir feeling on the album is from Rhyme Or Reason to So Much Better. Berzerk to Love Game is an unbelievable sequence. Perfect the way he was slightly changing: Berzerk-Rap God-Brainless, STIW-Monster, So Far-Love Game.

About Bad Guy/Stan comparisons, Stan is better overall, but Bad Guy's 4th verse > Any verse on Stan
