Just listened to Brainless today for the first time in a while. Almost forgot how much I love that track.

I'm back on Bad Guy... man that last verse/outro still gives me the chills. It's a fucking movie!

Seeing him perform the ending live would be worth the price of admission alone.

That last verse alone is probably one of my favourite things he's ever written.

It's funny, in all his albums up to Encore he blames everyrhing on his mother, now he apologized to her and blames it on his father.

He also thanked her on Encore, ironically on the same song you named your username after lol.

It was more of a "if she hadn't treated me that way, I wouldn't have became famous", not a real "thank you". He was beginning to change his mind about her at that time though. You can tell by some lines he wrote.

He wasnt saying that his anger and frustration was unjustified now, its not like he said " im sorry its totally ok you acted that way"
A lot of that is evidenced in the first verse of headlights, talking about them always fighting, and instead of giving eachother shit, they should band together cuz his dad screwed them both over

also... "At the time i was angry, rightfully maybe so" " all that medicine you fed us, and how i just wanted you to taste your own" He doesnt blame her for every bad thing that happened to him, but he still acknowledges that she treated him a certain way, he just realizes circumstances led her to act the way she did, so instead of entirely blaming her, he blames his dad now. "ma i forgive you.." he wouldnt be saying that if she had done nothing wrong whatsoever, so no he didnt do a complete 180, all that hes saying, atleast i think, is that despite everything, maybe she didnt deserve some of the things he had said, given she did the best she could(no matter how shitty of a job she did) she was forced into the situation they were in as a family just like he was.
