My opinions on Relapse and Recovery always switch. Relapse has goat breasts and rhyme schemes but Recovery gets me so hyped. Recovery would be much better as a mistake mixtape. It just doesn't have that cohesive feel that an album should

Relapse had intricate rhyming, brilliant storytelling, and clever lyrics. Recovery should have been album of the year for the sheer anthemic, Rocky-esque, Im-back-bitches-watch-me-sell-10mill-copies vibe of it.

SSLP >>Relapse for mos definite. Relapse was weird ... had no lasting substance. It was one long murder song.. how many times are you gonna throw punch lines about raping women and murder in the same album... SSLP had good subject matter to the songs.. very original pieces. And very different.

Had no lasting substance, is that why people are bumping it nowadays over Recovery? Relapse had so much more character and substance than Recovery. It's bizarre.

Im saying I just said its funny to even compare Relapse to Slim Shady LP, than I get hit with "shut up man, respect peoples opinions". But when someone says what a vast majority of people away from this site say, that relapse had the terrible accent, and that they prefer Recovery....than im hit with "awww shut up and get the fuck outta the forum, relapse is a classic". Sounds like double standards to me.

Beautiful is considered a gem on an otherwise trash album by the majority of the hip hop community. On here it's the total opposite (See Relapse elim thread).

I think Relapse is his worst album and that Em's comments on the 2010 J Ross interview were spot on in regard to the album.

Studio Leaks isn't the "hip hip" community lol. They're really the only ones who absolutely HATE Relapse. A lot of hip hop heads are "ehhh" about it (but it's not hate) and also a lot of them really enjoy it.
