Bad Guy, Asshole, Legacy, Brainless, Groundhog Day, Evil Twin, Headlights..
AMAZING album!

Yeah i prefer it too lol. But i think objectively speaking, SSLP is still a better album as a whole.

I agree 100%. I rank this over SSLP most of the time as my preference. But SSLP is a classic which I don't quite consider this album to be, but the highs on this album are really fucking high up there. SSLP is more consistent and served such a huge purpose when it came out.

Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again
In my dad's drag draggin' a faggot in a Glad bag
Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak

Plus some side projects like Bad Meets Evil. And 3 or 4 strong features with straight hip-hop artists like Nas.

Nas, 50, Dre, Yelawolf , and maybe another Jay Z one?

In a perfect world for me, his next album would feature Nas, Kendrick, Yela, Royce, & Dre, plus an unused Nate Dogg sample.

I kinda prefer Em's albums when the features are kept to a minimum

Rhyme or Reason never ceases to be fucking awesome.

The shit is one of his best songs since MMLP1 period, and one of his best ever.

The feel to it is so fucking cool, the lyrics are brilliant and the flow is pure addiction.

And the hook >>>>>>>

RoR, Rap God, So Far & Rap God, for me, show that he actually could continue that direction of semi-autobiographical/silly/light social commentary and it feels fresh and clever again. He just needs to stick to that new musical feel, RoR is perfect for me, he could really epitomise this feel but the only problem is since he already made MMLP2... he can't really top this with attitude as an album, as it'll look like that shoulda been MMLP2.

I agree! Some other just so fresh and classic Em IMO comes from Baby and Groundhog Day. :worship:

"Baby" is just orgasmic rap and some of the best rapping I have ever heard, period. It's just fucking brilliant. But also more of a ''standard Em song''. Doesn't feel fresh musically, but in terms of the quality of his performance on that... it's right up there, it's brilliant.

Then ''Groundhog Day'' just sneaks up on you how great it is. Initially I used to be ''meh'' about listening to it but when you actually do, the level of detail and density in his rhymes and ideas and how layered the shit is in terms of switching from thought to thought and the level of skill is BANANAS.

He's seriously on another planet with some of his latest talents.
