The more that I think about it, the more I realize that the production on MMLP 2 isn't that great. There are a few exceptions here or there but overall the production isn't that good imo

I was actually just thinking the opposite. The second Bad Guy beat is one of the most amazing things he's ever rapped on. I love all of the Rick Rubin production (especially Rhyme or Reason), Legacy is great (that piano>>). Brainless, Evil Twin and Groundhog Day are all amazing. In my opinion there are only a few that fall flat. Baby and Rap God have gotten mixed reactions but I like them.

All those songs you just listed: I love their beats :y: So, overall I guess I'd say I thoroughly enjoy about half of all the beats on MMLP 2. Don't know if that's that good tho. I just feel like it should be more... But then again it comes down to subjectivity.

Your sarcastic aside makes it seem as though this isn't a typical stance on the album, which it is.

Few people I've come across have considered it average.

Outside of this forum I'm sure the consensus is even harsher.

Its not. We have some of the most loving Eminem fans on this forum as well as some of the most critical. Random comments on the internet or the ones you happen to come across arent indicative of any consensus.

Youre entitled to thinking its average, but I couldnt disagree more. His rapping on this is fantastic.

Not true. I actually thought this awhile ago, but after looking it up it seems most fans would say it's average at WORST. Metacritic user rating is an 8.4, so it's really quite a commendable effort for most fans.

Just because you'll find the random asshole Stan stuck in the past here or there doesn't mean it's the major consensus.
