Yes :y: Wicked Ways came up on my phone's shuffle yesterday and it sounded so cool after not having hard it for a long time. I love his voice on the track. It's like at a perfect volume (not too loud and not too soft; I know that probably sounds weird but that's how I felt as I was listening to it) and the way he flows is fucking insane too. His wordplay is genius as well. Amazing, underrated song

Wicked Ways, and the rest of MMLP2 underrated as fuck... js :coffee:

Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again
In my dad's drag draggin' a faggot in a Glad bag
Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak

Wicked Ways is dope. I dont really like opening bars to the song though, but after those lines the song just becomes fire.

"Cause baby, stable mentally I ain't
I need my meds
I peed my bed

I'm going blind I don't see my legs
I keep on falling down, No wonder you can't stand me I need my cane
Someone help me I think my face is melting, If you felt these migraines
and see these maggots eat my brain
This G-I-A
N-T hole in my empty head
If you read my mind you can see my pain
Then you'd see why I be this way
Ever since I was knee high playin
with G.I. Joes
Told these hoes shut the P-I-E holes
now peep my game"

Not sure why I'm just now bringing this up, but I feel like it's pretty interesting.

So my little brother (20 years old) is a drummer and so he's never really been into rap, he's more about the musicality and instrumentation of music so he usually digs the classic rock/alternative/indie shit. So for awhile he would always give me shit for listening to Em, ya know the usual "Aw he hates his wife and loves Hailie, that's all he ever raps about.

Of course I, knowing how close-minded of an assessment that was, just didn't bother. But it started to bother me as he got older he was really getting into Kanye, and then he got a Drake poster, but he still dissed Em. So whatever, me and my bro got different musical tastes fair enough, shit happens.

Cue MMLP2. I remember buying the physical copy and bringing it home and my bro asked me if he could borrow the disc so he could burn it onto his laptop for a quick listen, so I let him.

I think it was probably two days later he made a status on Facebook along the lines of "the lyrics on MMLP2 are just incredible. Eminem and Kendrick are the new kings of Hip-Hop," or something very similar to that. This of course being after the release of Yeezus, GKMC, and MMLP2.

PREFACE: No I am not making this a fucking Kanye v. Em discussion, HOWEVER I just found it interesting that even someone who was so against Em and into Kanye--applying more to his preference for musicality I suppose--to have his favorite rapper change after listening to MMLP2.

I'm high as balls so I'm sure I rambled but thought I'd just share.

Bottom line: Rapping on MMLP2>>>>>>>>

Bad Guy is awesome and that outro verse is ridiculously godly.

Then you have RoR - one of Em's most fun and entertaining and cool songs EVER.

Then we have a kind of pillar of the album - Rap God and the brilliant Love Game and fantastic So Far.

Damn, if he had just not compromised / fucked up the vibe with the few that he did, MMLP2 could have been a classic.

RoR is amazing, that song is really great I never got tired of it. I always get a chuckle out of the second chorus where he says " and torture everyone that is my plan.."

@sboii

that was interesting, that doesn't always happen when someone has a pre conceived notion about someone. Its really cool he could appreciate the rhyming on MMLP2, enough to be swayed in opinion.

Forget what I said before, Relapse can't even touch this. MMLP2 is still fresh af and I love it more, now.

It goes MMLP > TES = SSLP >>> MMLP2 >>>>> Relapse

I swear, if Em manages to make an album full of songs as cool as RoR, he could make the best piece of art in music history.

Simple misunderstanding but just as I went to slam on the brakes
That's when I realized that she may be as crazy as me, wait
Bitch cut my fucking brakeline, stepped on them fuckers 8 times
Still goin' 73, thank God there's an exit coming up
:worship:

I said, "Hit the road" and after she left, I sent that bitch a text
I said, "Be careful driving, don't read this and have an accident!"
She glanced to look at it and wrecked
Too bad, thought we had a connect

no sense dwelling makes
Never been a more compelling case
Than the model covered in L'Oreal and mace
Who fell from grace eleven stories for storytelling
While the whore was yelling, "Rape"
'Til her vocal cords were swelling
And her voice were more hoarser than Tori Spellings' face
Still they swarm the gates
And my fancy estates to greet Norman Bates with a warm embrace
:worship: (did horse get his name from this line?)

The album is dense and his writing is probably even sharper than it was on most of TES.

That whole verse is amazing. :y:
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?
