But Em can put emotion into his songs without shouting at Recovery level. Example: Till I Collapse.

The shouting on Won't Back Down and 25 to Life seems forced to me. At least in Almost Famous it somehow fit the theme.

Eh, TIC is a pretty bad example man.

What, do you think his delivery on TIC is Recovery-esque? I said that the yelling feels different on TIC because imo it sounds more natural (if that makes sense).

Then again, could be just the mixing.

Plus you guys have to factor in that his voice naturally changed over half a decade he was out of action. TES Em still had some squeakiness to his voice, it was noticeable in how his voice altered when he yelled on a song on TIC in comparison to Recovery tracks. A big part of the change just came with age imo.

Plus it was partly due to the mixing as well.

Yeah Even if Em is rapping over a crappy beat or whatever, I usually don't pay attention to the beat and just focus on what he's saying. I tend to focus more on his lyrics and less on the production but with other rappers it's usually different.

Eminem on asshole is some seriously sharp writing. Its up there for me on flow and lyrics alone. The beat never really bothered me, but I do wish it had a better one, give how strong everything else in play is.
