But unlike those three tracks, STIW is shit. And it's not quite as jarring because Rock Bottom doesn't have Em singing about some random bitch he banged (there is no indication that it's Kim)

That wasn't the question at hand, so I don't care if you think it's shit.

I don't think its quite as jarring as Brainless to STIW. I think its the change in production style in conjunction with the drastically different pacing of the song and its content that makes Brainless to STIW feel more jarring. At least to me it does. Also up until that point with the exception of maybe Legacy, MMLP2 was hard hitting song after hard hitting song then it comes to to a dead stop at STIW.

I think STIW is a good song, I just think it puts the flow of the album to a dead stop to the albums detriment.

All you can do it handle it, worst thing you can do is panic
Use it to your advantage, avoid insanity manage
To conquer, every obstacle, make impossible possible
Even when winning illogical, losing is still far from optional.." -T.I.

But then STIW flows nicely into the Monster and from there on out the album is pretty smooth, at least for me

Really? Cause the album rapidly does another 180 with So Far and another with Headlights.

I'd say that those instances can be considered sonically jarring but it doesn't bother me too much

Otherwise I love the rap verses on all three it's just that the chorus ruins my vibe lol
and I can't be a Relapse stan cause if I was it would be number 1 on my list not number 3 :smoking:

Cheesy Choruses? Relapse has tons of great choruses? And imo Insane is one of Em's best choruses all time. :worship:

For cheesy choruses I was referring to The Monster. Asshole. and Survival... Relapse has my favourite Eminem choruses like Medicine Ball... Deja Vu... Careful What You Wish For... Crack A Bottle... Stay Wide Awake... to cut it short I think every chorus is flawless in Relapse :worship:

This reminds me of someone I know who has Recovery as their 2nd fave Eminem album but at least he has MMLP first.

Difficult for me to rank his albums. But, I divided them into 3 categories:

1. Can listen from beginning to end
SSLP/MMLP/TES/MMLP2 (uh..except Survival)
2. Like only specific songs
Relapse (subject matter is not appealing to me, otherwise, I really would listen :( ) /Recovery
3. Encore (somehow never managed to listen to the whole album)
Lose Yourself!
