We finally got ahold of Eminem’s publicist. Legacy, which is featured on Eminem’s latest studio album (The Marshall Mathers LP 2), has been approved for use in our latest # Detroit video. Matt Bartel, founder of
#Detroit, said: “I couldn’t believe it when I heard Eminem was on board. Having a sense of his character, envisioned that he would agree but to personally hear him express consent was emotional. I grew up listening to
his music. He was one of few artists that have inspired me...
As a token of our appreciation for approving the use of his track in our video, we are sending over all our video assets to his team in the event they could be used in the official video for Legacy.”
