Most Powerful/Meaningful Eminem Lines.

Postby TheVipBro » Jul 12th, '14, 20:14

Apart from all the crazy lyrics, sick schemes and amazing demonstrations of skill, eminem has also said some of the most powerful and meaningful rhymes.
So i wanted to see what you guys consider some of his best rhymes that you think mean alot and a breif way of saying why. I'll start with some of the most recent ones:

"Better go in that ring and knock 'em out, or you better not come out"
Do it or don't do it but don't try, success is the only option.

"Now you shut up bitch, I am talking
Thought I was full of horseshit and now
You fucking worship the ground in which I am walking"

Fuck, it basically doesn't need explaining.

That's why we seize the moment try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it
'Cause we consider these minutes golden

I have a few lines in mind

These lines in Sing for the Moment:
That's why we sing for these kids that don't have a thing except for a dream and a fucking rap magazine.
Who post pin-up pictures on they walls all day long
idolize they favorite rappers and know all they songs
Or for anyone who's ever been through shit in they lives
So they sit and cry at night wishing they'd die
till they throw on a rap record and they sit and they vibe

Here he talks about the effect rap music has on kids,teenagers/young adults etc. and how it can actually help people get through tough times.

These lines in Lose Yourself:
Baby momma screaming on her too much for me to wanna
Stay in one spot, another day of monotony
Has gotten me to the point, I'm like a snail I've got
to formulate a plot, or end up in jail or shot
Success is my only motherfuckin option, failure's not

Here he's talking about how he has to do whatever it takes to succeed so that he can take care of his family as they are depending on him.

This line in Till I Collapse:
A plaque and platinum status is whack if I'm not the baddest, so

All the awards and accolades don't mean anything if he is not proving himself to be above the competition
[b]I float like B.I.G.'s spirit in this bitch I'm ghostly
Rush me, cause you aint gonna live to roast me/b]

Lol. Yeah, who asked questions about that? Em didn't really answer anything on Evil Twin except maybe: does Eminem still have a fuck you attitude? And that question was already answered earlier multiple times on the album. Em was just taking responsibility for his actions and words on that Evil Twin line.

Only thing special about that line is that it's the last line of Em's last album. #retirement :shifty:

I know, I just had to have an excuse to add a line from evil twin. :shakehead: :shifty:

I know people are saying how the end of the 3rd verse on Kim is powerful (and it is don't get me wrong) but I personally love the beginning of that verse. The rage and energy in his voice when he starts off the verse:

"Come on get out (I can't, I'm scared)
I said get out bitch!"

I also represent anyone on the receiving end of those jokes you offend
I'm the nightmare you fell asleep in and woke up still in
I'm your karma closing in with each stroke of a pen
Perfect time to have some remorse to show for your sin
Nope, it's hopeless, I'm the denial that you're hopelessly in
When they say all of this is approaching its end
But you refuse to believe that it's over, here we go all over again
Back's to the wall, I’m stacking up all them odds, toilet's clogged
Yeah ‘cause I’m talking a lotta shit but I’m backing it all up
But in my head there’s a voice in the back and it hollers
After the track is demolished
"I am your lack of a conscience"
I’m the ringing in your ears
I’m the polyps on the back of your tonsils
Eating your vocal chords after your concerts
I’m your time that’s almost up that you haven’t acknowledged
Grab for some water but I’m that pill that’s too jagged to swallow
I’m the bullies you hate that you became
With every faggot you slaughtered
Coming back on you every woman you insult, batter
but the double-standards you have when it comes to your daughters
I represent everything you take for granted
‘Cause Marshall Mathers the rapper’s persona’s half a façade and
Matthew and Stan just symbolic of you not knowing what you had 'til it’s gone
‘Cause after all the glitz and the glam no more fans that are calling your name
Cameras are off, sad but it happens to all of them,
I'm the hindsight to say, “I told you so!”
Foreshadows of all the things that are to follow
I'm the future that's here to show you what happens tomorrow
If you don’t stop after they call you
Biggest laughing stock of rap who can’t call it quits
When it’s time to walk away
I’m every guilt trip the baggage you have
But as you gather up all your possessions
If there's anything you have left to say
Unless it makes an impact then don't bother
So before you rest your case
Better make sure you're packing a wallop
So one last time, I’m back
Before it fades into black and it’s all over
Behold the final chapter in the saga
Trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle
Twice, the magic that started it all
Tragic portrait of an artist tortured
Trapped in his own drawings
Tap into thoughts
Blacker and darker than anything imaginable
Here goes a wild stab in the dark
As we pick up where the last Mathers’ left off
The Matrix Has You
