Was My Darling supposed to come after Dr West?

I know it's probably been asked before in the past five years but this has always bothered me, as I've always felt like the Dr West skit at the start of Relapse was specifically made to precede My Darling. The skit has the voice, he even says "we'll always be together Marshall my darling" etc, and the skit ends with his alarm clock ringing and My Darling begins with him yawning. Then at the end of the song the two voices (Em and the demonic voice) merged, so following My Darling with a Slim Shady type murderous song like 3am makes perfect sense.

I've always felt it would've made more sense to start Relapse like this:

1. Dr West (skit)
2. My Darling
3. 3am
....rest of the album.

Does anyone else agree with this or do you prefer the album the way it is? I love Relapse don't get me wrong but I've just never been able to understand why My Darling was left off when it fits in to the whole concept so brilliantly.

I didn't say it wasn't, but the sequencing of Dr West, My Darling and then 3am just seems to fit better into the overall concept of the album (in my opinion of course). The Dr West skit was clearly made for a reason and it's obvious it was built around My Darling.

Oh, I misread. My Darling is a weak track imo. I think it was poorly executed, and the first verse has nothing to do with the rest of the song

You're retarded if you don't realise this. It was intended, but Eminem was like, My Darling doesn't sound sonically like the rest of the album, its a few years old cut it.

That's why the end of Dr. West has the alarm clock and a chainsaw start, than My Darling has the chainsaw and yawning at the beginning. Than, 3AM takes place afterwards at, you guessed it 3AM.
