He'd know what an iPod is...he just said that on So Far to demonstrate that he chooses to stick with his Walkman when he's writing to beats or listening to other people's songs.

You can tell from the walkman and watch that he doesn't give a fuck about new technology and is pretty firm on the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" view.
