I don't if this was the intention of the original post, but I thought it was aimed at people who only listen to the Slim Shady songs, or pick up certain lines of out of context ("oh he rapped about raping his mom"), swearing or "homophobia" and dismiss his work as immature.

I see most of his so-called immature lyrics as satire. Mostly because he is capable of writing perfect, masterful lyrics. Though it is also because even as he chooses to use words some people misunderstand as juvenile or unintentionally dumbed down, the things he talks about to this wide an audience and the subject matter he constantly almost without exception covers is usually the opposite of immature. Especially considering how any number of other artists shamefully behave.
